Swim Instruction in the Swim Studio
The Chicago Blue Dolphins Swim Studio is a one-of-a-kind environment for rapid delivery of swim instruction and training services. The Swim Studio is:
- A Dual-Propulsion Endless Pool for movement isolation, endless repetition, and refinement
- Floor, front, and ceiling mounted mirrors for real-time visual feedback
- Under- and above-water video recording and playback to aid in micro-adjustments to your stroke
The Swim Studio unifies visual, kinesthetic, and analytical feedback for the most effective stroke improvement in Chicago.
We provide a series of services in the Swim Studio, at pools around the city, and in the lake to improve your stroke.

Pricing -- Lessons, Small Group Clinic, and Swim Assessments
We can deliver all of our instructional content in private, semi-private, and small-group formats. Our Small Group Clinics have four to six students in them with two CBD instructors.
Our Swim Assessment is a special 75 minute lesson where you will recieve an annotated video record, a summary of key items to work on, and practices to take to the pool. For more information on Swim Assessments, click here

Members are current members on the CBD Masters Team. Students are adults currently putting themselves through school.
Video Record of the Swim Lesson
During our private and semi-private lessons we periodically take video clips of the instructor and students doing the drills and swimming. We will make a copy of the video for you for an additional $25 charge per DVD above the cost of the lesson. Please notify your instructor before the lesson that you would like a copy of the video feeds.
Swim Studio Lesson Policies
A discount of 10% is available for purchase of five or more private lessons at one time.
Private and semi-private lessons are 50 minutes in duration. Chicago Blue Dolphins requires 48 hours of advanced notice for any lesson cancellations.
