This year, we had 5 men and 2 women compete and finish the late summer Ironman races, Ironman Canada (08/30/09), Ironman Louisville (08/30/09), and Ironman Wisconsin (09/13/09). We’ve listed the athletes, their total times, and their overall or age-group places below.
IM Canada:
Ruth Meade, 1495th place, 13:30:01
IM Wisconsin:
Brent Lamm, 105th place in age group, 12:56:47
John Topacio, 230th in age group, 15:46:41
Scott Niswander, 186th place, 13:16:48, 1:27:52 for swim
IM Louisville:
Jake Siddal, 12:04:40, 23rd in division
Alexis Webb, 15:54:08, 84th in division
If you see any of these swimmers at practice, give them a congrats and a pat on the back — not too hard, though, because they might still be sore. Congratulations to all of you for races well done!
